My Reflections on Multilingualism Material in the Academic Speaking Course
In sessions 11-13 of the Academic Speaking course, we discussed Multilingualism, particularly in the context of language learning and teaching. In this material, we were tasked with conducting an interview with an English language educator. The interview was done in groups, where my group and I prepared 5-6 questions related to multilingualism, such as how they define multilingualism, whether they are multilingual, the benefits of being multilingual in daily life and the workplace, challenges faced as multilingual individuals, and how multilingualism impacts language learning and teaching. I will also provide a brief explanation about what multilingualism is and its role in language learning.
